Barbara Jean Cox

Barbara Jean Cox, age 81, of Marietta passed away June 27, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 11 am in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Rev. Cindy Blocksidge officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.



Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Cox and is survived by her loving children: Mark (Lisa) Brewer and Donna Stevens; and step-daughters: Cheryl Hancock and Diana Garten.



Barbara was fun, feisty, a world traveler and a very strong lady. She loved to write short-stories. Her children will miss her love, support and humor.

Perhaps our time seemed all too brief. Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
