Ava Lula Fogarty

Mrs. Ava Lula Fogarty, age 78, of Austell passed away November 9, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, November 13 at GracePointe Marietta with Dr. Bradley Brown and Rev. Jim Akins officiating. She will lie in state at the church 2 hours prior to the service.



A native of Marietta, Mrs. Fogarty was a nurse and had worked for 24 years with the Sylvan Hills Medical Group, and 15 years with the Atlanta Medical Center. She was a member of GracePointe Marietta.



Mrs. Fogarty is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick F. Fogarty and is survived by her children: Dr. June (Cathy) Marella-Luce of Decatur, GA, Michael E. Marella of Lithia Springs, GA, Jerry J. (Nancy) Marella of Wedowee, AL and Jana (Gene) Marella-Mullins of Austell, GA; Sisters: Geraldine (Bobby) Albo of Dallas, GA, Juanita (Terry) Kimbrough of Senoia, GA; Brothers, John L. Clayton of Marietta, GA and Clifford F. Clayton of Marietta, GA and 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
