Anthony David Alongi

Anthony David "Tony" Alongi, age 56, of Hiram, Georgia passed away April 20, 2018. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, April 23, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. A native of Washington, DC, Tony moved to Cobb County in 1972. He graduated from Walton High School, then worked as a salesperson with Hopson and Timbertown Building Supply Companies. He also enjoyed playing golf, watching sports, woodworking, and coaching youth baseball. He is survived by his son, Bryce Alongi, Hiram, GA; parents, Joe and Dee Alongi, Marietta, GA; 3 siblings, Judie (Joe) Mazih, St. Marys, GA, Tom (Susan) Alongi, Canton, GA and Dennis (Kirsten) Alongi, Marietta, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tony's memory to your favorite charity. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 23rd from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
