Anne Lowe Glass

Anne Lowe Glass, age 81, of Marietta, GA passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at Olive Springs Baptist Church in Marietta with Dr. Randy Cheek and Dr. Marion Beaver officiating. A second Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Edgewood Baptist Church in Wilkesboro, NC. with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Anne was preceded in death by her son: Jack C. Glass, Jr.
Anne a native of Moravian Falls, NC had been in Marietta for the past 60 years. She was a member of Olive Springs Baptist Church in Marietta, GA. She loved doing Ceramics and gardening, was an Administrative Assistant with Glass Electrical Company, and worked in the Cafeteria of Cobb County Schools.
Anne is survived by her husband of 64 years: Jack C. Glass, Sr. of Marietta, GA; four sons: James Glass of Villa Rica, GA, Steve Glass of Marietta, GA, David Glass of Mableton, GA and Dennis Glass of Alexandria, VA; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Also 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. visitation will be held Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Edgewood Baptist Church in Wilkesboro, NC before the service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Olive Springs Baptist Church in Marietta, GA.
