Ann Lunsford Graves passed away peacefully Saturday, July 27, 2019. She was born April 11, 1932, in Acworth, GA, to the late Thomas J. and Elaine Gresham Lunsford. Ann married her beloved husband, J. W. (Jay) Graves, in 1955. Throughout their 53 years of marriage, the couple resided in Atlanta, Smyrna and Marietta, GA, where they were long time members of Noonday Baptist Church.
Ann accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior as a child during Sunday School. She taught her children to love God and others through her example.
Ann faithfully served her family, church and community with unconditional love and affection. She will be fondly remembered for her note writing ministry and the countless cards she sent to anyone in need of an encouraging word or warm wish. Her gracious and godly spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Jay; sister, Frances Scroggs and brother, Brannum Lunsford.
She is survived by her children Wayne and Vicki Davis of Dallas, GA; Mark and Sally Graves of Greenville, SC; Six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brother Bailey Lunsford of Cartersville, GA; nieces and nephews.

Ann knows the love of Jesus her Savior, and she is now with Him. She showed that love to her family and others. "But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13).
