Angela Denise "Angie" Walden

Angela Denise "Angie" Walden, age 50, of Mableton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Floyd Road Baptist Church in Austell, Georgia with Pastor Keith Collins officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 19th from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the church prior to the ceremony.

Born in Tampa, FL, Angie had lived most of her life in Cobb County. After graduating from South Cobb High School in 1992, she attended Berry College in Rome, GA where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Biology. She worked as a Lab Technician for the American Red Cross for 20 years. Angie was a longtime member of Floyd Road Baptist Church where she was very active in Awana's ,Vacation Bible School, and the Children's Ministry. She was also a Girl Scout and had earned the Gold Award and went on to be a leader in the Girl Scout organization.

Survivors include: Husband of 20 years, Wally Walden; 4 Children, Bethany (Marc) Perry, Powder Springs, GA, David Walden, Mableton, GA, Katherine Walden, Mableton, GA, and Anna Walden, Mableton, GA; Parents, Buck and Mary White, Austell, GA; Brother, Matthew (Christy) White, Powder Springs, GA; 2 Grandchildren, Nathan and Natalie Perry.
