Andrew Charles Preather of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 at the age of 80. He was born on March 14, 1943, in Corinth, Mississippi to Lenora Acree and Andrew Jackson Preather.
Andrew attended Lincoln High School and Mildred Louise Business College. He moved to Georgia 30 years ago to continue his career as a service station owner which provided him other opportunities as an entrepreneur in support of his wife, Wilma Preather. They were married in 1963 and together they had one son, Christopher Preather.
Grandchildren Kristene Ashley Preather, Andrew Christopher Preather Jr., Andrea Christiana Preather and Aidan Giovanni Preather. Survivors also include his sisters, Sher and Denise.
Great Grandchildren Ava Jones, Noelle Sewall and John Sewall Jr.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 9, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
