Amy is survived by her loving parents, Joseph and Florence Waweru, and her brothers, Robert and Roy Wamweya, who provided her with unwavering love and support throughout her life.
In reflecting on her life, Amy often shared a quote that exemplified her outlook: "We often hear, 'Life is short, enjoy it,' but we often forget; 'Eternity is long, prepare for it."
