Amy Waldin Huff

Amy  Huff, age 42, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away January 11, 2024. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia with Rev. Johnny Foster officiating. Interment will be held 2:00 pm Friday, January 26, 2024 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Jefferson City, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her son Ethan.

Amy was born in Clovis, New Mexico and moved to Georgia with her family when she was four.  She was a 1999 graduate of Harrison High School and was so excited to have gone back to school and earned a BS degree in Computer Information Systems in 2023.  She was currently working on a Master’s Degree.  Amy loved God and loved her family.  She had many hobbies which included painting, gardening and exploring genealogy sites.   Amy was passionate about what she believed in.  She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing practical jokes on family members.  She leaves a terrible void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.  
Amy was definitely her own person. She was never boring and would always keep you guessing about what she was going to do next. Every shared moment was a treasure and the mere thought of her beautiful smile could illuminate the darkest corners of all our souls.
She had a love for life that transcends the boundaries of profound connection. A love that transcends the boundaries of earthly existence. We can all hope to be more like her and really live our lives without fear as she did.

Survivors include: husband: Brandon Huff of Powder Springs, GA; four children: Aubrey, Noah, Gabriella and Makenzie;  parents: Bob and Joyce Waldin of Jefferson City, TN; mother-in-law: Angie Huff; brother: Jonathan (Caryn) Waldin of New Market, TN; many other relatives and her beloved pet Brodie.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
