On August 14, 2018 Amberis Hill Toler, Jr. "Bill", loving husband, uncle, brother and friend, passed away at his home, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease and several other health issues.
"Uncle Bill" as he was known to those who loved him, was born in 1932 in Irwinton, GA. He served his country in the Army during the Korean conflict. He then spent 35 years with Lockheed, retiring in 1988.
Bill who was a member of Vinings Baptist Church, was the living example of someone who would "give you the shirt off of his back" and his kindness was unmatched. A true servant leader, his greatest love came from helping and being with his family.
Bill recently celebrated his 86th birthday surrounded by his nieces, nephews, wife and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his three siblings, and is survived by his loving wife of 64 years.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Smyrna.
