Amanda “Evelyn” McGarity, age 100, of Dallas, GA passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Richard Hemphill and Rev. Glen Pittman officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Marietta.

Born in Collins, GA on September 11, 1913, Mrs. McGarity moved to Dallas 12 years ago after living in Marietta for 60 years. She attended Trinity Fellowship Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, G.T. McGarity, and her son, Charles McGarity.
