Alver Eugene Cochran, age 84, of Mableton passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, April 29 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park.
Mr. Cochran was born at Grady Hospital in Atlanta and has lived in Georgia his entire life. He and his wife, Gladys, are faithful members of Floyd Road Baptist Church in Austell. He is preceded in death by his son, Michael David Cochran and is survived by his loving wife, Gladys Cochran and children: Carol (Bob) Payne of West Virginia, Carla (John) Briley of Kennesaw and daughter-in-law, Millie Cochran of Powder Springs; 5 grandchildren: David, Michael, Amanda, Marcus, Erin and 7 great-grandchildren.
