Mrs. Regina S. Fillingim, 89, of Pensacola, died peacefully Tuesday, November 29, 2011, in Marietta, GA. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 3rd in the Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. James D. Hicks and Rev. Dale Patterson officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow in Bayview Memorial Park. Mrs. Fillingim, a lifelong resident of Pensacola, was a homemaker and a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. During her life she was an active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Warrington Baptist Church and East Brent Baptist Church. Mrs. Fillingim was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Elmer G. Fillingim. She is survived by her three children and in-laws, Gene Fillingim and Glenda Hancock Fillingim, John and Tanna (Fillingim) Glover all of Pensacola, and Larry and Ann Fillingim of Marietta, GA; two sisters, Lavada Smith and Ida Lee (Dale) Yost, all of Pensacola; eight grandchildren, Ginny, Gene, John (Alisa), Andrew, Gina (Jimmy), Matthew (Amanda), Brian, and Laura (Eric). Mrs. Fillingim also had 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., preceding the 11:00 service on Saturday, December 3rd in Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32504
