Allison Blake

Allison Renee Blake, age 47, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away January 14, 2021. Allison loved her family: her Mom and Dad, her sister Michelle and her husband Tim, her Nephew Connor, her Niece Claire, her Aunts, Uncles, and many Cousins in South Georgia. Allison loved her church family at St. Teresa's Episcopal Church, Acworth (and she was loved by all). Allison loved going: anywhere, anytime (especially out to eat) and in any vehicle: car, bus, boat, airplane, anything that moved. Allison loved Disney: Disney World (favorite place), Disney Cruises, Disney clothes , and Disney characters (especially Minnie Mouse). Allison loved people: ALL people, her classmates and Special Ed teachers when she was in school (she was so proud when she "walked" with her High School graduating class at McEachern High School), her Day-Program "Classmates", and her group home roommates and staff. Allison loved friends: she had a circle of friends that included people from all backgrounds, cultural heritages, ages, and abilities. They were all "lifelong" friends, and she was loved in return as she "made their day" greeting them with a smile and a hug that was always present and ready. Allison loved daily life: her daily routine was important as was going to the doctor, going to the dentist (yes, the dentist). going for a haircut, going shopping for clothes, for paper and stickers, having her nails painted. Allison loved life: she is now healed and whole; love returned, as promised, for ever.
