Allene Luke

Mrs. Allene Luke, age 90, of Dallas, Georgia passed away May 24, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel at 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, GA 30064. Private interment to be held at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. Mrs. Luke was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Jerry Luke.

Mrs. Luke attended Southern Business University in Atlanta. She worked in the business office at the Canton Cotton Mill for several years, then as a homemaker and mother. She was the former owner of the Fashion Cottage in Marietta, GA and a longtime member of Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta. She was a former K-5 assistant at Eastside Baptist Preschool.

Survivors include: one son: Jeff (Alison) Luke of Dallas, GA; granddaughter: Katy (Matthew) Maske of Yorkville, GA; brother: Donald (Donna) Wehunt of Woodstock, GA; and one great-granddaughter: Minnie Maske.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Luke's memory to the Fine Arts Department at Cornerstone Preparatory Academy, 3588 Hickory Grove Road, Acworth, GA 30101.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory at 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, GA 30064.
