Alfonso Hurtado

Alfonso C. Hurtado, age 92, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away January 26, 2022. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. Preceded in death by his wife Adolfina and grandson Marcus.

Alfonso was a native of Havana, Cuba and has lived in the United States since April of 1967. He was a member and Deacon of Powder Springs First Baptist Church for more than 20 years. He was on the Board of Directors of Wellstar for many years. He loved music and spending time with his family.

Survivors include: four children: Manuel (Carolina) Hurtado of Powder Springs, GA, Marta Hurtado of Powder Springs, GA; Miguel Hurtado of Powder Springs, GA and Marc Hurtado of Powder Springs, GA; four grandchildren: Mandy, Tammy, Michael and Nicolas; one step-grandchild: Crisleidy; seven great-grandchildren: two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
