Alexander “Lex” “Bairn” Kerr Green, was a husband, father, son, veteran, brother, biker, freemason and a kind, loving, sensitive, generous, goofy, humorous soul who loved his family and friends. After graduating from George’s Valley High School in Thomaston, ME, Alex gave himself to our country when he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps between 2002-2015, finishing as a Sergeant. Once he exited, he received his Associate’s degree from the California Institute of Art & Technology in San Diego, CA. He was also a member of the Freemason Fraternity, lodge John D. Spreckels No. 657 Masons of San Diego, CA and the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Supreme Council 33 of Long Beach, CA. Known as “Bairn” amongst his MC brothers, he was a member of the Freemason MC Club, The Ruffians and had recently become Vice President of chapter BOAZ. He did more in his 38 years than most people dream to do.
Alex was a renaissance man with many interests and hobbies. He could be found enjoying many activities such as attending comic conventions with his friends and father-in-law, music festivals and concerts with his wife, building PCs, golfing, working on his motorcycle, collecting comic books, figures/busts, lapel pins and firearms, playing video games (role playing, action - adventure, virtual reality, shooting and strategy) shooting, anything Stan Lee, rewatching Star Trek episodes, mild yardwork and sewing for any of his daughter’s Girl Scout needs. He also had a slight curiosity about UFOs, the possibility of extraterrestrial life and the government's involvement, which prompted his interest in programs such as Ancient Aliens and Beyond Skinwalker Ranch.
Alex met the love of his life, Duana in 2013, whom he married in 2020. In their ten years together, they created a beautiful life and family and were always supportive of one another's goals and aspirations. Alex was the proudest father of his daughter, Bowie Curry-Lynn Green whom he shares with Duana, and his son, James Logan Green whom he shares with Cheyanne Thomas; and puppy-daughter Coconut.
Alex leaves to continue his legacy and the light he left behind, his wife, Duana Deborah Antwanette Green, son, James; daughter, Bowie; pup-daughter, Coconut; (step)mother, Deborah Cunningham-Green; sisters, Patricia Green-Gano and Amanda Green-Cox (Jeremy); step-sister, Amy Smith; step-grandmother, Loa Lee W. Blake; aunt, Betty Chadwick (Al); nephews, Quinn Montes (Kelly) and London Cox; nieces, Alex Dakota Gano Holmes (Dylan) and Jameson Cox; and many other extended family and friends throughout the world.
