Albert Kurth

Albert Kurth, age 85, of Marietta, Georgia passed away January 11, 2022. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA. Interment will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens in Acworth, Georgia.

Al was born on May 9, 1936 in Curtisville, PA. He worked in the printing business as a lithographer for many years for Command Web. He was drafted into the United States Army and served for two years. Al played professional baseball for the Detroit Tigers in the 50’s. He loved to travel, play golf, and spend time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Al is survived by sons: Erik (Michele) Kurth and Karl (Leighann) Kurth; grandchildren: Kaitlyn Kurth, Ansley Kurth, and Aaron Kurth; and siblings: Ruth Dimarsico, Shirley Lutz, Bill Kurth, Richard Kurth, Fred Kurth, Bob Kurth, and Roy Kurth.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
