Robert "Bob" Bass Corbitt

Robert “Bob” Bass Corbitt, age 71 of Marietta, passed away July 23, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 25 at 11 am in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Pastor Bill Rorie officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 until 8 pm at the funeral home.



Bob is preceded in death by his parents James and Marguerite Corbitt and is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Evelyn Corbitt and children: Tina Corbitt of Douglasville, Robert Corbitt, Jr. of Dallas and James Edward Corbitt of Dallas; sister, Sally Hackney of Douglasville, brother, John Corbitt of Locust Grove; grandchildren: Charlie, Chelsea, Ashton, Johnathan, Lydia; 2 great-grandchildren: London and Jordan.



Bob was born in Georgia and lived here his entire life. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a handyman, woodworker, avid gardener and loved his animals.
