Michael T Peterson

Michael T Peterson, age 59, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away June 7, 2023 after a sudden cardiac event. He was born in Washington, DC on July 16, 1963 to Mary Blair Bryan and John A. Peterson. He graduated from H.B. Plant High School in Tampa, FL and attended the University of South Florida. Michael was a lifelong entrepreneur that took great pride in owning his business, Brookmeade Inc. for over 20 years. He had a sincere love for running and would frequently attend as many races as he could. He loved his family and friends with all of his heart. He made sure that if you knew him, you knew that you were loved. Michael is survived by his parents, John and Mary Blair Peterson; his children, Alexander (Brittany), Matthew, Annie, Maggie, and Sophy Peterson; his grandchildren, Raiden and Emmie Peterson; and his siblings, John “Petey” Peterson, Mary Mirabal, Dorsey Peterson, Will Peterson, James Peterson, Becky Peterson, and Mark Peterson.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, June 16, 2023 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
