John Richard Hanson

John Richard Hanson, age 51, of Marietta, Georgia passed away January 13, 2022.

Born in Sacramento, CA, John lived in many places throughout his life, including England, California, North Dakota, and primarily Florida. He moved to Marietta, GA in 2020 from Tallahassee, FL. He worked as a chef for most of his life. John was a very generous person, helping anyone in need, and enjoyed surfing, the beach and ocean, and his animals. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Gail Hanson.

Survivors include: Wife, Michelle Rene Wright-Hanson; Son, Evan Hanson, Marietta, GA; Father, Darrell Hanson, Marietta, GA; Brother, Michael Hanson, Marietta, GA; Sister, Julia (David) MacCarroll, Smyrna, GA; Nephews, Sean and Ian Hanson; In-Laws, Claudette Miller, Micheal Wright and Donna Wright.
