Irene Garner Pressley

Irene Garner Pressley, age 72, of Smyrna, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Divine Foundation Church in Hiram. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at the church prior to the ceremony.

A native of Toccoa, GA, Ms. Pressley moved back to Georgia from Springville, AL 9 years ago. She loved listening to music, planting flowers, drawing, crocheting, sharing on Facebook and gifting others. She also enjoyed road trips to see her children and grandchildren, going to the mountains, and visiting flea markets with J.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Lee Garner and Lois Walters Garner, a sister, Sarah Geraldine Cook, and a brother, Charles Garner.

Survivors include: 4 Daughters, Tammy (Ricky) Pless, Martin, GA, Cherrie Darlene (Michael) Beaver, Eastonalle, GA, Rhonda (David) Coley, Carnesville, GA and Shannon (Jayme) Buffington, Martin, GA; 2 Sisters, Dorothy Conn, Dallas, GA and Brenda Singleton, Dallas, GA; 2 Brothers, Bobby Lee Garner Sr., Dallas, GA and Jimmy Garner, Rockmart, GA; 9 Grandchildren, Kelsey, Dillan, Candice, Keri, Devin, Amber, Gage, Hannah and John; 10 Great Grandchildren, and many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
