Donald Tolbert Hollingsworth

Donald Tolbert Hollingsworth, age 88, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Eastwood Baptist Church in Marietta. A Private Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery on Monday, August 3rd.
Born in Atlanta, Mr. Hollingsworth lived most of his life in Cobb County. He served in the US Army and Georgia National Guard. Afterwards, he had a long career in management and sales, retiring from Nalley Motor Trucks in Atlanta after 25 years. He continued in sales with Peterbilt of Ringgold, GA and Belk, Inc. He was a dedicated member of Eastwood Baptist Church, serving in many areas including convalescent ministry, a choir member, Sunday School teacher and served as a Deacon. He also enjoyed participating in multiple sports.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martha Hollingsworth; Children, Wendy Smith (Briggs), Marietta, GA, and Lori Crawford (Jason), Topeka, Kansas; Grandchildren, Caiden Crawford and Cole Crawford; Brother, Edward Hollingsworth (Dot), Birmingham, AL; Sister, Sandra Posea Lawrenceville, GA, and several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by: Mother, Florence M. Hollingsworth; Father, G.W. Hollingsworth; Siblings, Barbara Hollingsworth, Hiram Hollingsworth, Doug Hollingsworth, and Diane Johnson
